Worse Than Zimbabwe? Belarus Goes Tremendously Down In International Safety Ranking
Belarus has dropped from 16th to 114th place in the international safety ranking. This follows from the data of the global database Numbeo, which ranked the safest and the most dangerous destinations in the world for 2021.
In 2019 and 2020, Belarus ranked 16th in the global crime report. In 2019, a total of 118 countries were included in this ranking, in 2020, there were 129 countries.
At the beginning of 2021, Belarus country lost 98 positions and dropped to 114th place. In the recent report, Belarus was given a safety index score of 39.73 points and a crime index score of 60.27.
