Over 550,000t of grain threshed in Belarus
Over 550,000 tonnes of grain has been threshed in Belarus, the Agriculture and Food Ministry told BelTA. As of 17 July, winter barley was harvested from 138,200ha of land (90.3% of the harvested acreage), with 485,100 tonnes threshed (the average yield stood at 35.1 centners per hectare).
Winter rapeseed for grain was gathered in from 37,600ha of land or 11.29% of the targeted area, with 70,300 tonnes threshed (the average yield stood at 18.7 centners per hectare).
Flax was pulled from 3,810ha, which is 8.73% of the area under this crop. Belarusian agricultural workers made 330,400 tonnes of hay (34.3% of the target), 7,715,300 tonnes of haylage (56.4%), including 246,300 tonnes in polymeric packaging, 331,700 tonnes of grain haylage, and 193,600 tonnes of silage (1.01%).
