Apple may be giving Mac users what they’ve been asking for: more RAM. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is testing its upcoming M4 processor-based Macs with a minimum of 16GB of RAM, a significant improvement over the current 8GB standard.
The basic 8GB configuration has been a stumbling block for Mac users, especially those who are creative or have complex workflows.
Of course, you can choose a higher-level model at the time of purchase. But the difference in price between the basic and advanced versions is often quite large.
