Belarus pays farewell to Raman Bandarenka
Photo from Euroradio's listeners Thousands of people gathered today near a church in Minsk to pay farewell to Raman Bandarenka.
31-year-old Bandarenka died on November 12 at an emergency rescue hospital in Minsk. One day earlier, he came out from his apartment to the backyard of his house known as the «Square of changes» at the moment when a group of unknown people was cutting off the white-red-white ribbons from a nearby fence.
The white-red-white are the colors of the Belarusian national flag and the symbol of Belarusian protests. Raman was detained and taken to the Central District Police Station.
