Belarus should definitely be involved in the peace talks on Ukraine, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko, BelTA has learned. In June 2023 Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the talks were in the pipeline and pointed to Belarus' possible participation in the negotiation process. “Is it some sort of a veiled invitation to you to join the talks if they take place?” the journalist asked the head of state.
