Belarus, Hungary to expand cooperation in education

The issue was discussed at the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Vladimir Ulakhovich with Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Miklos Lengyel, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission. “The parties discussed Belarusian-Hungarian cooperation in education, including scholarship programs for students in Belarus and Hungary.

They outlined steps for further intensification of the relevant cooperation and outlined a plan of joint activities for the near future,” the embassy said.

Vladimir Ulakhovich visited Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) in March. The head of the diplomatic mission met with Head of Directorate for International Relations and Foreign Affairs David Bencsik and got familiar with the history, structure and international activities of MATE.
