It is clear that Zimbabwe is a landlocked country, deliveries there require the use of major seaports, first of all, in Mozambique and, secondly, on the east coast of South Africa.

Some goods however can be delivered via the Atlantic, through the Namibian port of Walvis Bay or Cape Town, one of the largest ports in Africa in general, including the Republic of South Africa," said Aleksandr Sidoruk. “I would call the main result of the visit the transition to a new level of interaction between Belarus and Zimbabwe,” the ambassador added. “We are now moving from pinpoint cooperation in a few areas, even if very important, to a full-scale comprehensive partnership after all the agreements we have reached.
